Forklift Training

Why Train?

“Employers” have Responsibilities, Duties and Legal Obligations regarding Lift Truck Safety in the workplace. The main legislation applying to the use of Lift Trucks is: the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations & Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations.

PUWER and LOLER were both introduced in Dec 1998, ten years on a lot of companies are still unaware of these regulations which could prove to be very costly. Companies who fail to comply and who are subsequently prosecuted could face unlimited fines and Directors can be sentenced to prison.
